International Association for Human Rights Advocacy in Geneva (IAHRA GENEVA) is a non-profit organization, governed by its statutes, according to articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code.
It has an objective to disseminate, promote and defend human rights, development and peace, in the spirit of the Charter of the United Nations, both within the relevant United Nations system and at the local, national and international levels.
The organization assists, supports, guides and sustains victims of human rights violations.
One of the main concerns of its interest is the violations of human rights in Turkey.

The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a unique process which involves a review of the human rights records of all UN Member States.
