Vision

International Association for Human Rights Advocacy in Geneva envisions a world in which everyone has their human rights respected, protected, promoted and fulfilled, as enshrined in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The current evolution of human rights in Turkey undermines the most fundamental freedoms, a democratic and inclusive development, and an open society that accepts differences (belief, ethnicity, gender, … etc), the independence of institutions and the promotion of peace.

Mission

Our association is an actor of change, actively working for the respect of human rights, in Turkey and around the world, basing our action on the international mechanisms of human rights, in particular those of the multilateral system of the United Nations and the European Court of Human Rights.

Our association aims to help restore the rule of law in Turkey, to work in the search for truth, justice and reparation for victims, and to aim at ensuring that acts of serious human rights violations will not be repeated.
