On May 26, 2023, the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) adopted its concluding observations on the fourth and fifth reports of Türkiye. The observations, predominantly stressed on the negative impact of the so- called fight on terrorism on children rights expressing its concerns over the numbers of parent deprived on terrorism-related charges that had drastically risen following the attempted coup in 2016. The IAHRAG provided extensive and detailed report to the CRC based on facts and testimonies explaining how such measures have adversely and deeply affected children.
